What parents absolutely need to know!
If you wish, the Visitors’ Centre will be happy to look after your children
(ages 4 to 12) from Monday through Friday – and the service is absolutely
free!
For all afternoon sessions, you will need to register with Gerlinde,
our child-care provider, at the “Haus des Gastes” on the morning of the same
day.

Big “Kids Fest” in the Kurpark and at the Woodcutters Museum
We host our big “Kids Fest” 2x per year during the summer holidays. The kids’ eyes gleam with joy as our magical clown, Tonni, leads them in fun-filled games. The programme includes all kinds of entertaining, exciting activities for children big and small.
Myths & Legends
As dusk settles in on the mysterious “Fairy-Tale Forest”, it is time
for us to hear tell of Ruhpolding’s gripping legends. A spookily good time
for the whole family amid ancient trees and rocks.
Exact times are available
from the tourist office.
Quick way to stay informed:
You can obtain the very
latest information and news about changes in the children’s programme from our
mascot, "Ruhfixl". That’s the life-size wooden Ruhfixl at the spa headquarters
and at the Visitors’ Centre.
Is your child having a birthday?
If your youngster celebrates a birthday during their stay in Ruhpolding and
you let us know at the “Haus des Gastes”, then your child will receive a special
Ruhfixl gift.
