Ruhpolding is fun for the entire family!
The huge range of leisure-time activities in all four seasons and the high quality standards of the first ‘Kinderland Town’ in Upper Bavaria are guarantees for lovely family friendly holidays in the Alps.
Family – it’s not only mum, dad, the kids and perhaps a dog. Families are also full of different interests and preferences that have to be brought together – especially on holiday.
For this reason, families who choose Ruhpolding as the destination for their Bavaria holiday have it especially good. Families are very well taken care of here, where you can enjoy farm holidays or holidays with dogs. In addition to many family friendly hotels, you can also expect a range of leisure-time activities that you can visit year round. You can go swimming, biking, horseback riding or skiing, as well as visit many other fun things to do in Bavaria such as amusement parks, museums, or excursion destinations in the Bavarian Alps, Chiemgau or neighbouring Austria – and of course, you can take advantage of many deals, discounts and packages that will do your family budget good.
Family holidays, holidays with dogs – a holiday for everyone
As a certified ‘Kinderland Town’, we offer childcare and special menus for children at restaurants, and many hosts are also prepared for families who want to spend a holiday with their dogs.
Especially popular are farm holidays – for many city children who are only familiar with milk in a bottle, this is an impressive and one-of-a-kind nature experience.
Let our team consult you to help you find the perfect location for a farm holiday or special holiday with dogs and children. You can also choose your own holiday flat or hotel – we will be happy to give you information about specific offers for family friendly holidays with children or dogs and can give you tips about things to see in Bavaria, the Bavarian Alps and Ruhpolding. We look forward to hearing from you!
At the ‘Ruhbärli-Club’ in the visitor’s centre (Haus des Gastes), kids from 4 to 12 years of age can be taken care of for free from Monday to Friday. Registration with Gerlinde at the Haus des Gastes is required in the morning for that afternoon.
