Unternbergbahn

With the Unterberg cable car built in 1971, this mountain, which has always been very popular with skiers, was made accessible for modern skiing. In addition, the chairlift and several tow lifts were built on the slopes. The downhill slopes have been marked and groomed with snow groomers.

Today the Unterberg presents itself as a leisure mountain in Ruhpolding. In summer, hikers, mountain bikers, hang-gliders and paragliders as well as families and nature enthusiasts get their money's worth. The small, fine ski area attracts skiers, snowboarders and ski tourers in winter.
